Well done, Andrea. Now the hard part. How to remember these when we're under fire!! The PAR is one that I use. Easy to remember. I also like STAR, easy to remember.
Agreed, that’s definitely the hardest part. I think the only way is doing it so often in low stakes moments that it becomes second nature when it matters most
A comprehensive post about Q&A - I appreciate it! As a coach for STEM speakers, I’d add this to “required reading” for everyone.
In STEM in particular, the Q&A time is precious - at a conference or at work, and we must make the most out of this potential for ‘connection’ and learning.
P.S.- I love any piece that helps unlearn the habits which don’t serve us. When it comes to effective communication - all the more, of course.

Really appreciated how you laid out these frameworks side by side. The Iceberg Model is a personal favourite.
Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback, it's much appreciated! I am from a STEM background and did have to unlearn lots of things as I got into consultancy...
I hear you.. 👍
The iceberg model was new for me. I'll have to dig into it more. Sounds promising! My go-to tends to be PAR.
